Played one season at Methodist University (2016-17), an NCAA Division III program in Fayetteville, North Carolina, before he transferred and played four seasons at University of North Carolina-Wilmington (2017-21).
Won once individually and was named the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year, in addition to garnering All-CAA First Team recognition in 2018 and 2021.
Finished second in program history with a 72.32 career scoring average, just ahead of fellow professional Patrick Cover.
Helped UNC-Wilmington win back-to-back CAA Championships in 2018 and 2019, with the latter victory coming at Pinehurst No. 8.
