Was named to the Maui Interscholastic Basketball League's second team in high school.

Played four seasons at University of San Diego (2012-16), garnering a 2016 All-West Coast Conference honor as a senior.

Won the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association Championship three consecutive times (2009, 2010, 2011) and was the 2010 Hawaii State Junior Golf Association Player of the Year.
