Haryana Steelers claimed their fourth straight win in the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 with a narrow 38-36 victory over Tamil Thalaivas at the SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, September 20. The result lifted the defending champions to third place on the table with six wins and two losses, while coach Manpreet Singh made history by becoming the first coach in PKL to reach 100 career victories.

Tamil Thalaivas began firmly, led by star raider Arjun Deshwal and defenders Ronak and Himanshu, who forced an early all-out on the champions. Haryana hit back through Vinayโ€™s raids and Jaideepโ€™s tackles, seizing control before half-time with a 25-16 lead.

The second half saw constant swings as Deshwal kept the Thalaivas in the contest. A key spell from substitute Mayank Saini, who scored with multi-point raids, restored Haryanaโ€™s edge. In the closing minutes, both teams fought hard, but the Steelers held firm to seal a tense two-point win. Tamil Thalaivas now sit eighth with three wins and four losses.
