Finished No. 56 in the FedExCup Fall standings after qualifying for the FedExCup Playoffs and recording three top-10s, highlighted by a victory at the Rocket Classic and runner-up at the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld. Made 8 cuts in 20 starts. Was the only rookie to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs.
Rocket Classic
In his 20th career PGA TOUR start, earned his first victory at the age of 20 years, 9 months, 16 days at the Rocket Classic. Became the ninth player since 1983 to win on TOUR before the age of 21. Held a share of the 18-hole lead as well as a two-stroke lead after 54 holes before carding a final-round 3-under 69, entering a three-man playoff with Max Greyserman and Chris Kirk. Clinched his first title by making a 17-foot, 10-inch birdie putt on the fifth playoff hole (par-3 15th).
