During sophomore year, was the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection. Repeated as a first-team all-conference selection in both his junior and senior seasons. Was also a member of the Ping Midwest All-Region team.

Was a Golf Coaches Association of America honorable mention All-American choice his senior year.
