Manchester City’s congested fixture schedule drew attention after their 1-1 draw with Arsenal. Bernardo Silva highlighted the challenges of a short turnaround, saying the team was not fully prepared for the clash.

The game at the Emirates Stadium saw a late goal from Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli, cancelling out City’s earlier lead and keeping the Premier League title race tightly contested. 

City had only 66 hours to recover after their 2-0 Champions League win over Napoli. In contrast, Arsenal had four days off following a 2-0 win over Athletic Club in Bilbao. 

‘It is not fair to play one of these games like this. It is just not right,�?Silva said. Manager Pep Guardiola also mentioned that his side was ‘incredibly tired�? as City had to cope with one of the tightest schedules in the league.
